The Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences at the
University of New Mexico is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to:
1) provide clinical supervision in speech-language pathology to graduate students in practicum programs;
2) instruct graduate clinicians in lab classes;
3) provide direct client care, educate, and consult with clients and families;
4) collaborate with faculty/clinic staff on curriculum and research.
The position reports directly to the Clinic Director, indirectly to the Department Chair, and partners with a team of dedicated clinic supervisors. Faculty in the department are nationally recognized experts in a wide range of areas that pertain to the health and education of individuals with speech, language, or hearing disorders. Our faculty and clinic staff are continually seeking to improve the scope and quality of the education and community service that we provide, especially to under-served groups.
